A little tired today and feeling I need to fix my sugar cravings with healthy snacks. Bliss balls are my go to treat in that case. Energy packed and sweet, they are so satisfying…
I opted to make this variation which is date free and full of various seeds to maximise good nutritious elements from seeds and nut butter vs carb from dates.
Are you in the mood for crumbly crunchy chewy nutty bliss balls ? Follow the link below and enjoy 🙂
Bliss balls are my “go to” healthy treat when I want to have a shot of energy before sports or if I had a super light meal and need a boost.
But today I made them to have some healthy snacks in my pockets while attending the kids school fair.
This time I chose the almond hazelnut matcha recipe, to get the extra kick from matcha powder.. and also because I love this recipe !
It was definitely a good idea.. and Rose and Leopold actually ate most of it 🙂
Follow the link below to try it
I don’t know if you snack, but I do 🙂
I am like the kids, I guess, I still need my 4 o clock little treat to fuel me until diner time.
Usually it will be a fruit, or a juice, and maybe a few activated raw nuts.
But if I really need energy I will go for bliss balls.
Today I could not make up my mind, so I made 3 different varieties:
Apricot and tahini, Fig and hazelnuts, Date and cacao
Let me know the one you prefer 🙂
Feeling a bit low in energy this morning …. But still willing to do my 1 hour run.
I made myself this energy booster to have a meal on the go, super easy to digest, rich in slow carbs, proteins and magnesium, and terribly yummy.
If you love vanilla flavor and creamy smoothies, this one could become a regular on your menu.
Have a look at the recipe below and tell me what you think 🙂
